MRP Passport Renewal:
Machine Readable Passport renewal is not possible. There is no option MRP renewal. Before/ After expire date, users have to re-issue MRP passport. MRP passport fee near about Tk. 3500/= for normal delivery.
How to Apply for Passport Online?
Now a days, any body can apply for passport online through www.passport.gov.bd site. Before starting online application, applicant have collect necessary information which I discuss early. Step by step instruction of online application for machine readable passport are given below:
Online application is divided in two parts which are stage 1 & Stage 2. Applicant can save their information by email address and password. So, they can update their information before final submission.
After completed stage 1 form fill up, stage 2 will be start by clicking next. Here payment information require. They can review their information after completed full application fill up and then they submit application. Applicant will get full fill up application form in their email after successfully submission. Now print two copy of application and submit it passport office with payment documents.
It is require to go passport office for take photograph and finger print. Applicant will be informed of finger print date by SMS or email. And they also knows passport delivery date.
How to recover password?
If applicant lost their password, they can recover it by using application ID through www.passport.gov.bd/RecoverPassword.aspx site. Everybody should remember their password and application ID for further use.
It is mentioned that applicant have to select which type of application he/she will get. Normal application fee Tk. 300/- and emergency application fee Tk. 6000/- only.

Step 4: Visit your Passport Office for Biometric enrolment
Make sure you have all required documents with you when you visit the passport office.
Step 5: Collect your e-Passport from the passport office. Please carry following documents to get passport:
Delivery slip you received during passport enrolment
Authorized representatives(has to bring his/her NID card) can collect the applicant’s new passport.
